Core Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead end-to-end production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, high product quality, and efficient manufacturing performance.
- Own and drive key KPIs including production rates, work order aging, OEE, and quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage cost optimization initiatives and oversee CapEx and OpEx planning aligned with business objectives.
- Drive capacity planning, process optimization, and strategic expansion to support growth and scalability.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, ensuring strong safety culture, workforce development, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and report production performance, KPIs, and strategic progress to senior leadership.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Foster cross-team collaboration (eliminate silos between assembly teams)
- Implement visual production management (e.g., dashboards, shopfloor boards)
- Strengthen top-down communication to technician level to increase engagement
- Drive a cost-focused production strategy
- Standardize and harmonize processes across teams
- Simplify workflows using Lean Management principles
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Drives strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient and high-quality production across all departments.
- Aligns closely with Engineering teams to improve processes, support prototyping, and resolve design and quality issues.
- Works with Planning and Purchasing to secure material availability, optimize capacity, and maintain stable production flow.
- Partners with Quality and Test Engineering to identify issues early and continuously improve product and process performance.
- Coordinates with Program Management, Facility Management, and Finance to support ramp-ups, infrastructure, and cost control.
What you bring with you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Several years of experience in production/manufacturing, including leadership responsibility
- Proven track record in managing production operations, KPIs, and continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and quality management systems
- Experience with capacity planning, cost control (CapEx/OpEx), and resource management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in hiring, developing, and leading teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
