What awaits you at Mynaric
- You are responsible for the Environmental tests and our broad variety of high-end mechanical test equipment.
- Hands-on preparation of tests and their execution will be part of your tasks, as well as the test data acquisition, processing, analysis, and interpretation. As part of our environmental testing group, you elaborate test specifications and procedures in accordance to test standards and requirements in close cooperation with other teams. These tests setups include, but are not limited to:
- vibration tests (shaker)
- tensile tests
- gluing tests
- Thermal and TVAC Tests
- You keep our test equipment in top working shape in close coordination with our technical staff and the head of testing
- Extending the capabilities of our test facilities or building entirely new test setups might be part of your job.
- Depending on the type of test, you are preparing and finalizing the required documents for certification, production, or knowledge conservation. Updating test procedures and helping with proving data for reports.
- You provide input to our design team and the respective project teams from a testing perspective and feed their input back to the testing team.
- The communication with external partners for our tests can be part of your job
What you bring with you
We are looking for a strong collaborator with a solid technical foundation. We don't expect you to be an expert in everything; where you are not as seasoned, a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and contribute to a team is what matters most.
- A team-first approach: You prioritize collective success and enjoy mentoring as much as you dolearningfrom others.
- A hands-on, creative problem-solving mindset and the tenacity to see a challenge through.
- A university degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant hands-on experience in environmental testing, especiallythermal andthermal-vacuumtesting.
- Proven ability to developandoperatecomplextest beds and automated test setups.
- Practicalexperience withusingLabVIEW for test automation and data acquisition.
- Experience with data handling, analysis, and process development. Python skills are a plus.
- A foundational knowledge of electronics for troubleshooting test setups is highly beneficial.
